The WE Group of Robert W. Baird & Co. continuing its sponsorship of The Milwaukee Masterpiece; Addison Auto Interiors joins group of sponsors

Milwaukee, Wis. (June 20, 2015) — The WE Group of Robert W. Baird & Co., Mequon, Wis., and Addison Auto Interiors, Addison, Ill., are joining the list of sponsors for The Milwaukee Masterpiece for 2015. The announcement was made today by Leon Flagg, chairman – The Masterpiece Ltd.

“The Milwaukee Masterpiece is one of the attractions that make Milwaukee great. Baird has been committed to Milwaukee since our beginnings in 1919 and our support of the Masterpiece is representative of our community involvement,” said Paul Westphal, director – The WE Group. “Great city, on a great lake with a great Concours d’Elegance automobile experience. We salute all that make the Masterpiece and their aspiration to be the finest show of its kind in the Midwest.” The WE Group has been a sponsor of The Milwaukee Masterpiece for several years.

“The Milwaukee Masterpiece, as Milwaukee’s premier automotive event, is an auto enthusiast’s dream come true. It is a weekend of events, in Milwaukee’s unparalleled showcase at the lakefront, that provides automotive thrill for the casual observer all the way through seasoned experts. As a venue to raise charitable funds for several worthy causes, it is my pleasure through my association with Robert W. Baird & Co., Inc. and the WE Group to sponsor such a worthy and high-caliber event,” added John Lewenauer, managing director, Private Wealth Management, The WE Group.

“We love doing restoration work on fine antique and classic automobiles,” said Jim Kowalczyk, one of the owners of Addison Auto Interiors. “And I definitely like older or notable cars, so The Milwaukee Masterpiece is a terrific event for us and we’ve been supporting it for many years.”

Addison Auto Interiors specializes in the replacement and restoration of interiors and tops on fine antique and classic automobiles-domestic and foreign. The company is family owned by brothers Jim and Rick Kowalczyk who have a passion for cars that extends back to their younger years helping Dad change oil in the family car. They have been established in the Chicagoland area for more than 35 years and provide more than 50 years of experience in all phases of interior and top work. Many of the fine autos Addision Auto Interiors has worked on have won awards at some of the finest Concours auto shows around the U.S.

“We’re delighted to again count The WE Group of Robert W. Baird & Co. among our wonderful sponsors and to welcome Addison Auto Interiors. Our sponsors’ commitment enables The Milwaukee Masterpiece to fulfill its mission to support local charities that enrich the lives of many in our community,” Flagg said.

The Milwaukee Masterpiece presented by The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank: More than a car show

On the surface, The Milwaukee Masterpiece presented by The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank appears to be a car show, a stunning one at that as Veterans Park is filled for two days on an August weekend with many unique marques and collector favorites.

But look a bit deeper and you’ll discover that The Milwaukee Masterpiece event includes a variety of facets that collectively define the Masterpiece as a comprehensive event.

Each facet is unique and would be successful on its own; together they comprise and deliver the full Milwaukee Masterpiece experience. Those facets, each distinctive, include:

  • The Milwaukee Masterpiece Concours d’ Elegance.
  • Club Saturday at the M.
  • The Masterpiece Marketplace.
  • The Style & Speed Social.
  • Food and beverage.
  • Masterpiece memorabilia.

The Masterpiece Ltd., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, hosts the annual Milwaukee Masterpiece Concours d’Elegance; Club Saturday at the M, a casual car show; and the Style & Speed Social, a social event on the evening preceding Sunday’s Concours d’ Elegance.

Proceeds from the weekend events will benefit the Masterpiece’s three designated charities – Autism Society of Southeast Wisconsin, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee and Meta House. In 2014 The Masterpiece Ltd. distributed more than $37,000 to the three organizations. Since its inception, more than $187,000 has been distributed to charitable organizations.
