Milwaukee, Wis. – (Dec. 17, 2015 ) – The Masterpiece Ltd., host of the Milwaukee Concours d’Elegance (formerly named the Milwaukee Masterpiece), is donating $10,000 to each of the event’s designated charities: Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee and Meta House. The announcement was made today by Gary Messing, president – The Masterpiece Ltd.
“We’re pleased to share the proceeds of our 2015 event with three organizations that do so much to improve the lives of many in our community,” Messing said. Since its inception 12 years ago, the Milwaukee Concours d’Elegance weekend that celebrates the art and beauty of automobiles has raised more than $200,000 for charity.
Messing said The Masterpiece Ltd. board of directors has designated the same charities to receive proceeds from the 2016 weekend of events, Aug. 27 – 28, 2016.
The Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin supports people with autism spectrum disorders, their families, professionals, and others, by sharing information, supporting research, providing networking opportunities and promoting awareness through education and training.
The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is to inspire and empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Established in 1963, Meta House ends the generational cycle of addiction by healing women and strengthening families. The agency offers substance abuse for women in three treatment settings: inpatient residential, outpatient day treatment and transitional housing.
The Masterpiece Ltd. is organized and operated exclusively to support other public charities including but not limited to those operating in southeastern Wisconsin which provide medical and social service care and relief to underprivileged children and families through various motor vehicle-related fundraising events.
