Lexus of Brookfield, Lexus North Shore and Zymöl sign on as sponsors of the 2015 Milwaukee Masterpiece

Milwaukee, Wis. (June 1, 2015) – Lexus of Brookfield and Lexus North Shore, both owned by the Safro Automotive Group, and Zymöl, automotive care products company, have been added to the growing list of prestigious sponsors of the 2015 Milwaukee Masterpiece to be held Aug. 22 – 23, 2015, in Veterans Park on Milwaukee’s lakefront. The announcement was made today by Leon Flagg, chairman – The Masterpiece Ltd.

“We are thrilled to begin new relationships with Milwaukee area’s Lexus stores operated by the Safro Automotive Group, as well as Zymöl, the car care products known and used by car aficionados around the world,” said Flagg.

Lexus of Brookfield and Lexus Northshore will have a hospitality tent on the grounds of the Milwaukee Masterpiece in Veterans Park as well as a display that is sure to draw crowds, according to Gina Safro-Resch, Safro Automotive Group marketing director. “For the enjoyment of attendees at this year’s Milwaukee Masterpiece, we will be displaying a rare Lexus LFA,” she said. Dealer Principal Jeanne M. Safro, Safro-Resch’s mother, purchased the 2012 LFA in honor of her late husband Jack Safro. She subsequently sold it and it has stayed in the greater Milwaukee area. The current owner has graciously agreed to show the car during the Milwaukee Masterpiece weekend, Aug. 22 – 23, 2015, in Veterans Park at the lakefront.

lexus-lfa-red-1The Lexus LFA is a two-seat supercar from Lexus. After beginning development in the early 2000s, the first LFA concept premiered in 2005, followed in 2007 by a second LFA with a more completely furnished interior and exterior. The third version of the LFA, a roadster model, premiered in 2008.

The production Lexus LFA features an even firing V10 engine and a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) body. CFRP materials account for 65 percent of the LFA’s body composition by mass. The LFA went into production in late 2010, with a base price of US$375,000. A circuit-tuned variant debuted in 2012 with a base price of US$445,000, making it one of the most expensive Japanese road cars ever built. Production ended in December 2012 with 500 vehicles completed, the final version being a Nürburgring Package model.

Zymölzymol Logo small, with world growing and production headquarters in Brooksville, Fla., is the leading manufacturer of pure, naturally derived surface care products distributed worldwide through select Resellers and Distributors. Zymöl offers multiple complete lines of products priced from $20 to $10,000 to maintain automobiles, motorcycles, watercraft, aircraft, hot-rods and musical instruments.

The Milwaukee Masterpiece: More than a car show

On the surface, The Milwaukee Masterpiece appears to be a car show, a stunning one at that as Veterans Park is filled for two days on an August weekend with many unique marques and collector favorites.

But look a bit deeper and you’ll discover that The Milwaukee Masterpiece event includes a variety of facets that collectively define the Masterpiece as a comprehensive event.

Each facet is unique and would be successful on its own; together they comprise and deliver the full Milwaukee Masterpiece experience. Those facets, each distinctive, include:

  • The Milwaukee Masterpiece Concours d’ Elegance.
  • Club Saturday at the M.
  • The Masterpiece Marketplace.
  • The Style & Speed Social.
  • Food and beverage.
  • Masterpiece memorabilia.

Tickets for all Milwaukee Masterpiece events, Aug. 22 – 23, 2015, may be purchased in advance online.

The Masterpiece Ltd., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, hosts the annual Milwaukee Masterpiece Concours d’Elegance; Club Saturday at the M, a casual car show; and the Style & Speed Social, a social event on the evening preceding Sunday’s Concours d’ Elegance.

Proceeds from the weekend events will benefit the Masterpiece’s three designated charities – Autism Society of Southeast Wisconsin, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee and Meta House. In 2014 The Masterpiece Ltd. distributed more than $37,000 to the three organizations. Since its inception, more than $187,000 has been distributed to charitable organizations.
