Style & Speed Social 2016
The evening prior to the 2016 Milwaukee Concours d’Elegance, exhibitors and enthusiasts alike can mingle at The Milwaukee Club. Billed as the “Style & Speed Social,” this charity fundraising event is all about conversation and camaraderie in a relaxed, elegant setting.
Special guests include Donald Osborne, noted appraiser and featured contributor on the “Jay Leno’s Garage” series on CNBC.
The social is Saturday, Aug. 27, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is open to all.
Beyond the food, beverages and camaraderie, a highlight of the evening is the silent auction, which includes a variety of exclusive items, according to auction chairperson Cana Comer.
- Tour for six of Jay Leno’s Big Dog Garage, donated by Jay Leno and Donald Osborne, plus a $3000 airfare allowance donated by the Boucher Automotive Group.
- Autobahn Country Club Package including half-day Pro-Racing Experience and lapping in a variety of new performance cars, all at Autobahn’s exclusive private track located in Joliet, Illinois.
- Introductory Flight from Gran-Aire at Timmerman Airport allowing the lucky winner to fly an airplane over the Greater Milwaukee area.
- Original “V12” watercolor painting by Jake Manogue, (pictured at right), the artwork used for the 2016 Milwaukee Concoursd’Elegance commemorative poster.

About the Milwaukee Club: Located at 706 N. Jefferson Street, at the corner of E. Wisconsin Avenue and N. Jefferson Street, the Milwaukee Club opened in 1882. The rock-faced Lake Superior sandstone, bright red Philadelphia brick, and ornamental terra cotta trimmings contribute to the club’s characteristic color. Style & Speed guests will be free to roam this impressive building, beginning with the dining room on the main floor, allowing a step back into the rich history of Milwaukee.
